RusHydro to purchase Sevan-Hrazdan cascade of HPPs in ArmeniaDecember 22, 2010 - 16:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian RusHydro OJSC is going to close the deal on purchase of Sevan-Hrazdan cascade of HPPs in Armenia, which belongs to Inter RAO UES. Chairman of RusHydro’s Management Board Evgeny Dod said in an interview with Kommersant paper that the company has reached an agreement with Inter RAO and, hopefully, the company will close the deal on this asset purchase in the near future. According to Dod, the program on complex reconstruction has been agreed with the Armenian government three years ago. As for the amount of investments, it will make around €40mln. “It is our specialization, due to which the property presents interest for us, the more so as we have known Armenia for a long time,” Evgeny Dod.
