Armenian Financial Ombudsman’s Office plans republican campaign to increase public awareness

PanARMENIAN.Net - In 2011, the Office of Armenia’s Financial Ombudsman plans an active campaign for financial awareness increase in Armenia’s provinces, Financial Ombudsman Piruz Sargsyan said.

Summing up the results of 2-year work, Ms. Sargsyan stated that “in 2010, the Office launched activities to increase the level of education in the country, with the campaign to be continued into the year 2011. Also, international conference of financial ombudsmen was scheduled in Yerevan.”

“5 companies (VTB Armenia Bank, HSBC Bank Armenia, Byblos Banks Amrenia, INGO Armenia and Rosgosstrakh) were awarded with diplomas for effective cooperation with the Office of Armenia’s Financial Ombudsman in 2010,” she concluded.
