2.3% increase recorded in Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totaled $321.6mln in January 2011 that is 2.3% more compared to the same period in 2010, according to updated statistical data.

Export amounted to $66.3mln during in January 2011 that is 21.3% more compared to the same period in 2010, while 1.7% drop was recorded in import, bringing it to $255.3mln, the RA National Statistical Service reported.

The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $189mln in January 2011.
