Unibank sets high interest rate for positive balance of pension cardsApril 6, 2011 - 17:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Unibank CJSC set a high interest rate for positive balance of pension cards – 5% per year. Unibank’s pension card is a universal banking card – ArCa Classic – with privileged terms of servicing for pensioners. The cards are emitted and serviced free of charge. In January 2011 Unibank signed an agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Under it, pensioners can receive pensions via banking cards of Unibank. Pension cards can be validated in any of 34 branches of Unibank. In 2011, the bank plans to bring the number of emitted cards to 200 000, while the number of POS-terminals and ATMs will reach 900 and 100 respectively.
