Armenia's Zvartnots temple to be illuminated on April 18![]() April 18, 2012 - 17:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Masterpiece of Armenian historic and cultural heritage, Zvartnots reserve included in UNESCO’s international heritage list will host the opening ceremony of Zvartnots historic-cultural reserve museum’s new permanent exhibition on April 18. In addition, the temple will be illuminated in the night. Deputy director of the service for preservation of historic and cultural monuments Ashot Piliposyan told journalists that night-time illumination of the temple will feature white light only, unlike the pagan temple Garni which saw colorful illumination in 2009. Zvartnots temple marks the 1360th anniversary of its anointment in 2012. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
