Armen is a part of the 24 member squad that will represent India at the 2012 HSBC Asian 5 Nations Division-III Tournament to be played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this June. Armen is an Ex-Student of the famous Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy in Kolkata, and is currently studying in Madras. He is also playing Rugby for Chennai Cheetahs RFC. Before going to Chennai, Armen captained Armenian Sports Club, under whom the team won trophies for many years. Armen was also one of the 12 Armenian boys that represented Indian National Team (under 19), in Brunei Darussalam in 2007, according to a press release.
