Elina Danielian wins FIDE Women Grand Prix round 3 to climb 2nd

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian chess player Elina Danielian beat Turkey’s Betul Cemre Yildiz in FIDE Women Grand Prix round 3 to climb to 2nd place with 2 points.

Slovenia’s Anna Muzychuk (2 points) is leading the tournament, having tied the game with India’s Humpy Koneru.

Hou Yifan (China), Viktorija Cmilyte (Lithuania) and Nadezhda Kosintseva (Russia) gained wins over Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia), Alisa Galliamova (Russia) and Alexandra Kosteniuk (Russia) respectively.

Antoaneta Stefanova (Bulgaria)-Kateryna Lahno(Ukraine) game ended in a tie.

In the 4th round of the tournament, Danielian will face off against Tatiana Kosintseva.
