Samuel Sevian wins 20th Metropolitan Chess Invitational

PanARMENIAN.Net - 11-year-old Armenian chess player Samuel Sevian scored 7 points out of 9 to win the first prize at the 20th Metropolitan Tournament in Los Angeles. Samuel fulfilled an International Master norm for the second time within the last two months.

Meanwhile, Armenian grandmaster Tatev Abrahamyan scored 4,5 points out of 5 to win the chess open in Woodlands Hills, USA.

The tournament brought together 41 chess players, armchess.am reported.
