PanARMENIAN.Net - Italy’s Elio Verde beat Armenia’s Hovhannes Davtyan in the Olympic men's Judo 60kg quarterfinals.

However, the Armenian judoka, who has previously scored 3 wins, has a chance to fight for bronze in case of a victory in a bout against Frances Sofiane Milous.

Earlier in the day, Davtyan beat Germany’s Tobias Englmaier, Azerbaijan’s Ildar Mushkiyev and Kazakhstan’s Yerkebulan Kossayev.
