A large number of fans in Italian FC uniforms gathered at Zvartnots Airport to welcome the footballers. The team will have their only training in Yerevan on October 11, which will be open to the accredited journalists only. Armenia vs. Italy World Cup 2014 qualifier is scheduled for October 12, at Yerevan’s Hrazdan stadium. After tying a game vs. Bulgaria, Italy beat Malta.
