Armenian chess players successful at Chigorin Memorial

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Robert Hovhannisyan beat Russia’s Ivan Rozum in the third round of Mikhail Chigorin Memorial International Chess Festival in Saint Petersburg.

Meanwhile, Avetik Grigoryan and Hovik Hayrapetyan scored wins against Turkey’s Emre Can and Russia’s Anton Shomoev respectively.

After the third round the players scored 3 points each to share the 1st-16th places with several participants.

Chigorin Memorial will last through November 4.
