Armenian GMs 0,5 point behind Fujairah Championship leaders

PanARMENIAN.Net - Fujairah International Chess Championship 2012 is ongoing in United Arab Emirates, with Armenia’s Tigran Petrosian and Zaven Andriasian participating.

Petrosian beat India’s Vishnu Prasanna, with Andriasian tying a game vs French Étienne Bacrot in the second round.

Armenian representatives scored 1,5 point to fall 0,5 point behind the leaders .

Petrosian will face off against Dragan Solak (Turkey), with Andriasian to rival Yuriy Kryvoruchko (Ukriane) in the 3rd round.

The tournament will run until November 21.
