EU states share views on Genocide issue – EU delegation head

PanARMENIAN.Net - EU states share views on Armenian Genocide issue, the head of EU delegation to Armenia said.

The problem lies between 2 countries, while the EU is a group of states, Ambassador Traian Hristea said during a lecture in Yerevan.

“The EU was founded to prevent recurrence of bloody pages in history, with the experience amassed to be used in promoting peace,” he said.

“Peace is a much more favorable state. We don’t forget the history, but don’t want to be dragged down by it,” he said.
