Armenian boxing championship winners announced

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian boxing championship completed today, Feb 9, with about 100 boxers from provinces participating.

As boxing federation secretary-in-charge Levon Hovhannsyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Hovhannes Danielyan (49 kg), Derenik Gizhlaryan (52 kg), Ararat Mkhitaryan (56 kg), Hovhannes Bochkov (60 kg), Ara Puluzyan (64 kg), Vladimir Margaryan (69 kg), Arman Hovnikyan (75 kg), Ruslan Ibrahimyan (81 kg), Azat Davtyan (91 kg) and Armen Simonyan (+91 kg) won in 10 weight categories.

On Feb 25-March 10, Armenian boxers will conduct the first practice session in Abovyan city, with 5 athletes to participate in Czech Republic-hosted international tournament and 6-in Finland or Ukraine.
