Robert Aghasaryan achieves grandmaster norm at Moscow Open

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Robert Aghasaryan scored 6 points out of 9 to achieve grandmaster norm at the tournament A of Moscow Open.

Young chess player Nikita Matinian (Russia) also acheievd the grandmaster norm at the same tournament by scoring 7 points.

Aghasaryan will participate in Moscow-hosted Aeroflot tournament to run until Feb 17, with Tigran Petrosian, Zaven Andriasian, Tigran Kotanjyan, Hovhannes Gabuzyan, Hovhannes Danielyan, Tigran Simonyan and Davit Gevorgyan to perform at blitz and rapid chess tournaments.
