Zaven Andriasian comes 15th in Aeroflot Open blitz tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Grandmaster Zaven Andriasian showed the best result among the Armenian chess players at the blitz tournament, held as part of Moscow-hosted Aeroflot Open. He scored 12,5 points out of 18 to finish 15th among 269 participants.

Grandmaster Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia) won the tournament with 15,5 points.

The final has been slated for Feb 16-17, with 8 invited chess stars and 8 tournament winners to participate.
