London hosts Candidates Tournament opening

PanARMENIAN.Net - London hosted the opening of 2013 World Chess Championship's Candidates Tournament in the evening of Thursday, March 14.

With the first round due March 15, the pairings were drawn as follows:

Levon Aronian (Armenia) - Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Boris Gelfand (Israel)-Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan), Vassily Ivanshuk (Ukraine)-Alexaner Grischuk (Russia), Peter Svidler-Vladimir Kramnik (Russia).

The round 1 will start at 6 pm Yerevan time.
