Aronian withdrawal from Candidates Petrosian’s April Fools Day prank

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian withdrew from the London-hosted Candidates Tournament, grandmaster Tigran Petrosian said in his April Fool’s Day Facebook post.

“Aronian’s move came after Azeri chess player Teimour Radjabov’s holding a fixed round 13 game with Norway’s Magnus Carlsen and losing to the latter. There’s a proof to the above facts. We hope FIDE will be decisive in disqualifying both chess players, at least for a while,” Petrosian’s prank post said.
