Atlanta thrift shop worker in hospital after package explodes

PanARMENIAN.Net - Atlanta fire department officials say a thrift shop employee has been hospitalized with burns after a package he was opening explode, The Associated Press reported.

Atlanta Fire Department Captain Marian McDaniel says the unidentified worker was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with burns to the hands and legs.

Authorities are investigating the incident.

Police and fire officials remained on the scene Tuesday, April 16 afternoon.
