Melkumyan leading Grand Europe chess tournament after round 2

PanARMENIAN.Net - Grand Europe chess tournament is ongoing in Bulgarian city of Albena.

In round 2 of the tournament, Armenia’s Hrant Melkumyan beat Vadim Skomorokhin; Tigran Tigran L. Petrosian gained the upper hand over Mikhail Sankov; Avetik Grigoryan lost to Georgescu Tiberiu-Marian.

Melkumyan is leading the tournament with 2 points. Petrosian and Grigoryan gained 1,5 and 1 points respectively.
