Russia to Keep on Promoting Karabakh Conflict SettlementFebruary 20, 2006 - 12:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia is ready to act as a guarantor of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Mikhail Kamynin stated. In his words, Russia offers its diplomatic assistance in case Armenia and Azerbaijan reach an agreement. "The unsettlement of the Nagorno Karabakh problem upsets all the Caucasian states including Russia and the latter will keep on promoting the conflict settlement," the RF MFA member said. Emphasizing that the parties to conflict are responsible for the final settlement formula the diplomat said Russia will support any variant satisfactory for them. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
