Levon Aronian retains 2nd place in FIDE rankings

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian continues to occupy the 2nd place with 2 813 points in FIDE rankings that was published on Aug 1.

The list is topped by Norway’s Magnus Carlsen (2862 points). Italy’s Fabiano Caruana is third with 2796 points.

Sergei Movsesian is 49th with 2699; Vladimir Akopian is 60th with 2691 points; Gabriel Sargissian is 73rd with 2671 while Tigran L. Petrosian is 89th with 2660 points.
