Turkey recalls Egypt envoy for consultations amid violence![]() August 16, 2013 - 09:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey has recalled its ambassador to Egypt for consultations, a foreign ministry official said on Thursday, following harsh condemnation by Ankara of a bloody crackdown by Egyptian security forces on supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi, Reuters reported. Turkey has emerged as one of the fiercest international critics of what it has called an "unacceptable coup" after Egypt's military toppled Morsi last month, and has called on the U.N. Security Council to act to stop the bloodshed. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. Partner news |
