US State Department: OSCE MG Not Going to Visit Region after Consultations in MoscowMay 2, 2006 - 14:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group are holding two-day consultations in Moscow, official representative of the US State Department Bureau on European and Eurasian Affairs Terry Davidson reported. In his words, all three OSCE MG Co-Chairs - Yuri Merzlyakov, Bernard Fassier and Steven Mann - take part in the consultations held May 2-3. The parties discuss the current and future activities aimed at promoting peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Davidson said. He also reported that no trips to the region are scheduled right after the consultations, reports Trend.Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
