Mississippi House of Representatives blocks pro-Azeri resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Resolution MS SR4 on Azerbaijan’s "territorial integrity" was submitted to Mississippi House of Representatives.

The resolution, submitted by Senator John Horhn notes Azerbaijan to be a strategic economic partner of the United States and the State of Mississippi. The resolution author believes it necessary to support the partnership between the states and "urges the U.S. Administration to reinvigorate efforts aimed at the earliest fair political settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict."

The bill, however, was blocked by the foreign affairs committee and not put to the vote, according to LegiScan.com.
