Levon Aronian to participate in Grand Chess Tour 2016

PanARMENIAN.Net - The organizers of the Grand Chess Tour 2016 unveiled Friday, April 8 the list of participants of the tournament.

Levon Aronian (Armenia), Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Fabiano Caruana (U.S.), Hikaru Nakamura (U.S.), Anish Giri (the Netherlands), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Veselon Topalov (Bulgaria), Viswanathan Anand (India) and Wesley So (U.S.) will compete against each other at the Grand Chess Tour 2016.

Also joining the tournament is Chinese grandmaster Ding Liren and Laurent Fressinet from France.

World champion Magnus Carlsen will only participate in the rapid chess tournament.
