Juventus hopes to outstrip Arsenal in race for Mkhitaryan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Borussia Dortmund midfielder and captain of the Armenia national team, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to change the club as the parties fail to reach agreement on extending the player’s contract with the German club.

Borussia Dortmund reportedly aims to keep Mkhitaryan by offering the Armenian midfielder a contract with better conditions, a Sky News journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio said.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus hopes to get the 27-yearl-old Armenian national, despite Arsenal's interest.

The Italian club are sure to have an advantage over others, as they claim to have established good relations with the footballer’s agent, Mino Raiola.

Mkhitaryan is under contract at Dortmund until the summer of 2017 and the Bundesliga club are trying to get him to agree to fresh terms.
