Chelsea offers €60 mln to Henrikh Mkhitaryan: report

PanARMENIAN.Net - Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is chasing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Tribal Football says.

The Armenia international has been linked with Arsenal this season, with a recent London visit sending the transfer rumor mill into overdrive.

BILD, however, says the Gunners face competition from Chelsea, where Conte is demanding Mkhitaryan's signing. The Italian pushed hard to sign the midfielder while in charge of Juventus and remains a big fan.

According to Chempionat.com, Chelsea have offered over €60 million to Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan poured fuel on the fire on Sunday, April 24 when asked about the rumors.

Asked if he'd heard from Chelsea, the midfielder replied, with a reported wink: "I do not know..."

In the current season, Mkhitaryan has participated in 29 games, scoring 12 goals and 14 assists.
