Borussia Dortmund have no intention to let go of Henrikh Mkhitaryan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said that the club aren’t going to part with midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan’s agent said on May 12 a decision about the Armenia international’s future at BVB will be made within the next fortnight.

“I have already said we are not going to lose three players before the next season,” Watzke said according to sports websites.

“Mkhitaryan’s contract with Borussia ending in 2017 has become a subject of debate. We hope, however, Mkhitaryan will express a desire to stay with Borussia in the long run.”

Voters from countries as diverse as Montenegro, Malawi and Morocco were among those who opted for Dortmund's midfield maestro Henrikh Mkhitaryan as DW Player of the Season. The Armenian won 26 percent of the votes, Deutsche Welle reports.
