Mkhitaryan transfer decision nears; Arsenal, Man Utd among key hosts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund is expected to make a final decision on his transfer by the end of June, a report on Bild says.

Arsenal have reportedly held talks with Borussia Dortmund to finalize the transfer of Mkhitaryan, journalist Emanuele Giulianelli revealed on Twitter.

The 27-year-old is expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window with Manchester United also interested according to reports in England.

But as reported at the start of the week, the Gunners are strong favorites and an official announcement could be made as early as next week.

Last week, agent Mino Raiola confirmed that the player is ready to listen to offers ahead of the summer transfer window, FastOneTwo.com reports.

"Why would we sign a contract renewal now?" Raiola told German newspaper Bild.

"Micki has a contract until June 2017 and we are looking at his options for the future."
