Armenian GM Sergei Movsisian wins Czech Open 2016

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Sergei Movsisian won the main tournament of the Czech Open 2016 international chess and games festival.

The tournament was held in the Czech city of Pardubice on July 22-30, moscowchess.org reports.

The Armenian grandmaster gained 7.5 points in 9 rounds. Half a point behind him was a 9-member group of players.

In June 2016, Movsisian won the Teplice Open Chess Tournament 2016 gaining 7 points out of 9 possible.
