Israel to ship Iron Dome air defense system to Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israel will soon deliver to Azerbaijan an Iron Dome air defense system, Newz.az reports.

According local media sources, Azeri MP Yevda Abramov said the system is ready to be delivered to the South Caucasus country.

The move comes after Armenia at a parade marking the 25th anniversary of independence demonstrated Iskander ballistic missile systems along with various kinds of Russian military hardware.

Iron dome is a tactical system of air defense intended for defense against uncontrolled tactical missiles with a flight range of 4-70 km.
