Leading the rankings is Norwegian genius Magnus Carlsen who has been topping the list for several years now. Following Carlsen are Wesley So (U.S.), Fabiano Caruana (U.S.) Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Hikaru Nakamura, Viswanathan Anand (India), Sergey Karjakin (Russia,) Aronian, and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan).
