Levon Aronian joins lineup of Grenke Chess Classic

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian chess legend Levon Aronian will participate in the Grenke Chess Classic in the German towns of Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe on April 15-22.

Seven other grandmasters are also participating in the round-robin tournament, including Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Fabiano Caruana (U.S.), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Arkadij Naiditsch (Azerbaijan), Hou Yifan (China), Matthias Blübaum (Germany) and Georg Meier (Germany).

Former champions include Carlsen and Viswanathan Anand of India.
