  Azerbaijan hid death of two soldiers killed in April War in 2016 August 5, 2017 - 13:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of the Azerbaijani special forces Ehliyet Mehdiyev has revealed recently that a fellow special squad soldier, Shahriar Eyvazov, had been killed in an Armenian artillery fire in April, 2016, Razm.info reports. Azerbaijan on April 2, 2016 launched a large-scale military offensive against Nagorno Karabakh, which left hundreds dead on both sides. Top Armenian and Azerbaijani defense officials reached an agreement on the cessation of hostilities on April 5 in Moscow. The offensive is known as the Four-Day War or the April War. Besides, another Azerbaijani serviceman, Sabirli Adil Tehranoglu was also killed, most probably, in non-combat conditions. The Azerbaijani side had not reported on the death of the two soldiers.  Top stories Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. In 2023, the Azerbaijani government will increase the country’s defense budget by more than 1.1 billion manats ($650 million). The bill, published on Monday, is designed to "eliminate the shortcomings of an unreasonably broad interpretation of the key concept of "compatriot". The earthquake caused a temporary blackout, damaged many buildings and closed a number of rural roads.
