Armenia's Levon Aronian launches World Chess Cup with victory

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Levon Aronian started the World Chess Cup in Tbilisi with a victory, defeating South Africa's Daniel Cawdery.

The second game is slated for September 4, in case of an equal ranking, a tie break will be played.

The other two players representing Armenia - Hrant Melkumyan and Robert Hovhannisyan - reached a draw each.
