German-Armenian boxer wins Fair Play award at  World Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Rio bronze medalist, German-Armenian boxer Artem Harutyunyan was given the Fair Play award at the World Boxing Championship in Hamburg.

"Famous in Germany, the 27-year-old boxer once again proved his superiority in this sport as the embodiment of the spirit of an honest player both in case of losing and winning," AIBA said in a statement.

Representing Germany, the boxer of Armenian heritage competed in the men's light welterweight.
