Olympic silver medalist Migran Arutyunyan turns to MMA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Vice-champion of Rio Olympic Games, Armenian wrestler Migran Arutyunyan will turn to mixed martial arts, MMA manager Rizvan Magomedov said in an Instagram post.

"I have no doubt that he will achieve great success in this sport," Magomedov said.

"We have come to a cooperation agreement and will do our best to achieve the highest goals."

Arutyunyan competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics for Armenia where he lost to Davor Štefanek of Serbia in the final bout and took silver.
