Henrikh Mkhitaryan fifth fastest player in Manchester United

Henrikh Mkhitaryan fifth fastest player in Manchester United

PanARMENIAN.Net - Premier League statisticians Opta have clocked the five fastest speeds recorded by Manchester United players so far this season, The Mirror reveals.

5. Henrikh Mkhitaryan - 33.68 km/h

Mkhitaryan has spent the season in the number 10 role where a source claims he is at his 'most dangerous' and the Armenian has started his second season with United quicker than his first.

If Mkhitaryan claims another assist at Stoke this weekend he will become the third player in the Premier League era to have accumulated six assists in his first four appearances.

4. Phil Jones - 33.8 km/h

Jones has started the season superbly and was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award after a mixed first season under Mourinho. Jones performed well at centre half but regularly succumbed to injury.

3. Marcus Rashford - 34.27 km/h

Rashford broke his duck for the campaign with the winner against Leicester, having shone without scoring in the wins over West Ham and Swansea.

2. Romelu Lukaku - 34.56 km/h

Lukaku made it eight goals in six games for club and country against Greece in Piraeus earlier this week and his pace has enhanced a United attack which often resorted to long balls with Ibrahimovic in the side.

1. Paul Pogba - 34.68 km/h

Pogba was a surprise omission from the Premier League's Player of the Month shortlist but he received the United equivalent, having earned two man of the match awards from supporters against Swansea and Leicester.
