PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Levon Aronian drew the first game of 1/8 elimination round against Russia's Daniil Dubov at the World Chess Cup, currently underway in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The second game will be held on Wednesday, September 13, the National Olympic Committee of Armenia reports.

Meanwhile, world champion Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura and Vladimir Kramnik have already been left out of the tournament.
