Armenian gymnasts win individual medals at Voronin Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian athletes Artur Davtyan and Vigen Khachatryan won individual medals at the 24th Mikhail Voronin Cup, an international artistic gymnastics tournament, currently underway in Moscow, Russia.

Davtyan, in particular, won a gold medal in the vault event of the tournament, shared the second spot with two Russian athletes in the pommel horse and the still rings competitions. On the parallel bars, Davtyan took the bronze.

Khachatryan, meanwhile, secured a bronze on the floor.

Earlier, Davtyan and Khachatryan performed as a team to win a bronze medal, with the former also snatching one more medal, becoming the third prize-winner in the men's all-around event.
