Azerbaijani boxers will skip European Championships in YerevanApril 27, 2022 - 15:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani sportsmen won't participate in the upcoming European Boxing Championships in Yerevan, which will be held from May 21 to 31, Haqqin.az reports. The Armenian government earlier decided to allocate over AMD 750 million (some $1.6 million) to arrange the Championships in the capital. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan said in mid-April that about 400 people from some 40 countries, including 280 athletes and their staff, are expected to take part in the championship.
