Under Giloyan’s leadership, the club plans to bring fresh energy and new strategies to the upcoming Armenian A-League championship, set to begin in November. “Our goal is to restore Urartu’s former stature and reputation, build a competitive team, and deliver entertaining basketball for fans. I’m confident we can achieve new success together,” Giloyan said. The club’s full roster and coaching staff will be announced in the coming days. In 2018, Giloyan was a founding member of the initiative group for the Eurasian Basketball League and was elected president of the league. Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28.
