Four Armenian boxers win European U23 titles in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Four Armenian athletes have claimed championship titles at the European U23 and youth boxing championships taking place in Yerevan, according to the Boxing Federation of Armenia.

Argishti Hakobyan won gold in the 67 kg weight category with a unanimous 5–0 victory over Belarusian boxer Maksim Rybak. Andranik Martirosyan also claimed the European title in the 60 kg category.

Earlier, Vagharshak Keyan secured the title in the 54 kg category, defeating Russian boxer Arsenii Zhiltsov with a confident 5–0 decision.

Harutyun Martirosyan and Vahram Dovlatbekyan finished as runners-up, earning silver medals in their respective divisions.

The championship began on November 3 at Armenia’s Sports Management Center in Yerevan.
