Petrosyan, Hakobkokhyan win U23 European boxing titles

PanARMENIAN.Net - Manvel Petrosyan (63.5 kg) and Harutyun Hakobkokhyan (71 kg) have won gold at the European U23 Boxing Championships, the Armenian Boxing Federation reports.

Harutyun Hakobkokhyan is the son of Israel Hakobkokhyan, a world and three-time European champion, and his victory secured Armenia’s second gold medal at the tournament.

In the 75 kg category, Marat Mikayelyan claimed silver, becoming European vice-champion.

Other Armenian champions at the event include Samvel Siramargyan (75 kg), Andranik Martirosyan (60 kg), and Argishti Hakobyan (67 kg). Elida Kocharyan became a three-time European U23 champion.
