Real Sociedad denies Zakharian transfer talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Real Sociedad has denied reports claiming midfielder Arsen Zakharian is in talks over a transfer to Krasnodar.

The club's press officer, Jon Ander Munduate, rejected media reports suggesting Zakharian could join the Russian club if captain and midfielder Eduard Spertsyan leaves Krasnodar, Sport24 reports.

“We don't understand what reports are being discussed, but at the moment, we are not negotiating over any player. Media outlets claiming Zakharian is leaving have not presented any factual information. As for negotiations with Krasnodar regarding Arsen's transfer, there are none,” Munduate said.

The 23-year-old Zakharian has played for Real Sociedad since the summer of 2023. He has made 65 appearances for the San Sebastian club, scoring three goals and providing three assists. Transfermarkt currently values the midfielder at €9 million.
