The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a three-year contract with an option to extend it by one additional season. According to unofficial reports, the transfer fee amounted to €25 million. According to media reports, Spertsyan's annual base salary at Al-Ahli will be €5 million, excluding bonuses. He is also expected to receive 10% of the fee from any future transfer, Forbes.ru reports. The report adds that Spertsyan's total annual earnings, including bonuses, are expected to reach €8 million. The player's agent, Vadim Ohanyan, said the move would undoubtedly represent a step forward in Spertsyan's career, noting that the Saudi Pro League has featured players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and other international stars. Spertsyan made 185 appearances for Krasnodar, scoring 58 goals and providing 44 assists. Transfermarkt currently values him at €25 million.
