Roman Amoyan becomes World's Vice Champion in classical wrestling

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the final round of Herning World Championship (Denmark), Armenian Greco-Roman style wrestler Roman Amoyan (w/c 55 kg.) was defeated by Iran's Hamid Reichanpur 0:6.



Bronze medal winners in this weigh class were Rovshan Bayramov (Azerbaijan) and Hakan Nibble (Denmark).



On September 26, Armenia will be represented by Artak Harutyunyan (w/c 60 kg.), Arthur Shaghinyan (84 kg.) and Arman Geghamyan (96 kg.). On the final day of Championship, Sasun Ghambaryan (66 kg.), Arsen Djulfakyan (Europe 2009 champion, w/c 74 kg) and Yuri Patrikev (120 kg.) will compete on wrestling ground.
