NKR CEC: parliamentary elections successful![]() May 23, 2010 - 15:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The parliamentary elections in Arstakh can be considered successful, deputy chairman of the NKR Central Election Committee said. “I can congratulate the people of Arstakh, as 44357 of 95303 voters have already cast ballot,” Yeghishe Arzumanyan said. “The highest turnout was registered in Hadrut (60.87%), Askeran (57.57%) and Martuni (66.72%).” He also said that two violations have been fixed so far. “Unknown people made an attempt to circulate leaflets in two polling stations, but this can’t affect the results,” Mr. Arzumanyan said, adding that the turnout is expected to reach 70%. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
