Armenia, Iran emphasize importance of strengthening bilateral economic relations![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian delegation, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan was on a visit to Tehran on August 3-4 to participate in Armenia 2010: Past Experience and Future Prospects seminar. The seminar, held on August 4 in Tehran University, hosted Iranian Foreign Ministry diplomats, former Armenian Ambassadors to Iran, representatives of scientific and political research centers. At the seminar, RA Deputy Foreign Minister and Armenian Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelyan presented priority directions of RA foreign policy and perspectives of RA-Iran relations development. During his visit, Arman Kirakosyan met with a number of Iran’s high ranking officials. At the meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, the parties gave high assessment to current level of bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic ties. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
